6/15/2020 17:25:44	White	Female	Advertising	Strategy Director	£550 (GBP)	Freelance	London	15

6/15/2020 19:28:12	Caucasian	Male	Advertising	Copywriter/CD	$1200-1500	Who do I work for? Lots of companies.	LA	22	Occasionally a recruitment agency. It's good money overall, so I'm happy to negotiate, but $1000 per day is probably the lowest, depending on how busy I am.

6/15/2020 20:04:07	caucasian	male	advertising	copywriter / cd	$1,500	adam&eveNY	new york	11

6/15/2020 21:04:27	White other	Female	Advertising	Creative Director	£500 per day	Multiple	London	7	All word of mouth referral. Currently working at 20% reduction during lockdown. It’s the only time I’ve been negotiated down from what I’ve asked for.

6/15/2020 21:57:00	White	Female	Advertising	Creative Director	£800	Mother	London	12	had a particular expertise in the client they were pitching for

6/15/2020 22:00:04	White	Female Advertising	Project manager	£350	All main ad agencies	London	8	What I know as the ‘standard’ day rate for project managers

6/15/2020 22:08:25	White	Female	Advertising	Agency TV Producer	£350	Agency London	6	Was a creative for 5 years, then moved into production 6 years ago. Prior to that spent 2.5 years on Creative Placement earning as little as £180 a week. Wouldn’t have been able to do it without financial support from parents.

6/15/2020 22:09:12	White	Female	Advertising	Head of Copy	£500-650	Mix of both	London	22	Word of mouth / previously worked together

6/15/2020 22:15:50	White	Malee	Advertising	Creative Director	$1750-2000	Multiple Brands & Agencies	Los Angeles	11	No recruitment agencies. Word of mouth only. Top end of day rate is where I put my worth/negotiation start. It is for short gigs. Low end is for longer jobs/agencies who won't pay full day rate, I don't go lower unless it's for longer permalance style gigs. Have to be comfortable saying no at low day rates. And saying no to going on "wage" for a freelance gig, it screws the tax.

6/15/2020 22:24:27	White	Male	Advertising	Creative Director	£600	The & Partnership	London	15	Direct

6/15/2020 22:27:08	White	Male	Advertising	Strategy Director	£550	R/GA	London	13	Direct, which helped keep the rate up a bit.

6/15/2020 22:31:59	Asian	Male	Advertising	Strategy Director	$1,000	Code and Theory	New York	7	Recruiter

6/15/2020 22:59:58	Latino	Male	Advertising	Jr. Strategist	$30/hr	Agency	USA	1	Get gigs mostly from LinkedIn and networking. I was hoping to get a job after school, but with the current market I feel kind of forced into freelancing. Don't really have experience freelancing and not much experience as is (junior level) so I've been talking what I can get (both projects and rates)

6/15/2020 23:31:27	White	Female	Advertising	ACD / Art	1400	Deutsch	LA	8	Happy with the rate, they contacted me.

6/16/2020 8:15:10	White	Male	Advertising	Senior Creative	£500	In house at one of the big tech companies. London	12	I was contacted by a recruiter for it. It’s PAYE via their chosen outsourcing company vs my LTD. Happy with the rate but there’s also free food, paid holiday, pension contributions, free recovery days, paid every extra hour of overtime (even the 6-7pm hour most agencies wouldn’t count), and I was given a fund to sort out my work from home situation. Been here about a year.

6/16/2020 8:20:16	Black	Female	Advertising	ACD/Copy	800 USD (100/hourly, 150/hr overtime)	Razorfish NY	8	They paid through an outside contracting company and were keen to lowball me something fierce.

Creative Director	1. ~€800 per day / 2. ~€1000 per day	Wieden & Kennedy, Adidas, 72andSunny, R/GA	Amsterdam, Berlin	14	Most.of my jobs have been between 3 mths+ long. Always go direct with agency and negotiate. Sometimes I get a little less or a little more (between €750 and €900/day). Have taken one short-term job at greatly reduced fee (€650/day) since Covid lockdown to help out old friends that I know
