What happened:
On February 6, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck Turkey and Syria. The toll stands at over 18,000 dead in Turkey and over 3,000 dead in Syria, with those numbers expected to continue to rise.
Thousands have been displaced and left homeless in freezing temperatures. People are still stuck under rubble and debris waiting to be rescued.
Donations are crucial. They go toward helping search and rescue efforts by volunteer teams, providing housing, food, and life-saving supplies to displaced and hurt survivors, recovering and identifying the deceased victims, and rehabilitating destroyed communities.
USD and Euros are extremely powerful.
