Any album post Donda is dogshit (hopefully some comps "fixes" those crappy albums)
Good Ass Job Good Ass Job The Pastelle Collective's Good Ass Job comp creates a cohesive album that represents the Good Ass Job era, but without any of the track overlap with release MBTDF that is commonly found on comps of the same era. Through extreme reworks and majorly revamped production, this comp gives a grandiosity parallel to MBDTF. It includes tracks like "Throw Money Everywhere" and "Downtown", songs largely known to continue the sound of 808s, and other tracks like "Hard Horn Nightmare" and "Not The Same", which are representative of Kanye's well known Boom Bap style. This mix of 808s and Boom Bap not only create a unique experience separate from release MBTDF, but also adhere to Kanye's original vision for Good Ass Job. The Pastelle Collective Rework
Good Ass Job Good Ass Job SimpleJosh's Good Ass Job comp is a clean rework, devoid of added prod, which creates a cleaner album (as opposed to just the leaks) with added content almost exclusively done by people in Kanye's camp. This tracklist includes songs from the pre VMAs era, Songs from release, and scraps from the era, so it gives every listener a whole, yet honest, representation of the Good Ass Job era. Thank God For Drugs Thank God For Drugs π SimpleJosh's Thank God for Drugs comp is a attempt at creating a maximalist, layered, and longer version of Kanye's 6th LP Yeezus. Fueled by rumors of a 20 track album, SimpleJosh created a much grander version of Yeezus, and executed it well. Looking at modern leaks, it seems the direction of the real Thank God for Drugs project was not as large as SimpleJosh Invisioned, but the cohesive quality of the edits allow for the inaccuracies to go unnoticed. This comp includes edits like "No No No No," "Louder," and "Emotionless," all before they leaked, meaning that those tracks have little to no resemblance to the newer, now leaked tracks. Despite its old age, and lack of more modern information and leaks, it's still held up as a great rework and is loved by many. Close Salami / SimpleJosh Rework
Thank God For Drugs Thank God For Drugs π Akimbo and Jozzuh's community comp "Thank God For Drugs" is a comp focused on elevating early demos, scrapped songs, and rumored collabarations to a level on par with that of the released yeezus album. The comp has a heavy focus on industrial instrumentation, added synths and an overall revamp to make songs more dramtic and spectaclular compared to their unfinished counterparts. The first link is to Akimbo's personal version, which includes improved and updated mixes, along stripping back some production and reworking that might have been too overbearing. The second link is to the community comp, and while this version does not have the same quality of mix, it does contain some different production and tracks that people may prefer. Akimbo & Co. Yeezus 2 SENSATIONAL SolidusJack's comp "SENSATIONAL" is an ambitious mass rework of mainly Yeezus 2, with some SHMG ties. Featuring 4 disks. Disks 1 & 2 being the main comp and an epilogue respectively, and disks 3 & 4 being extra content. The comp seeks to create a great listening experience via capturing the energy of 2014/2015 Kanye West, and what could've come out during that time. This comp pulls from many sides of the Yeezus 2/SHMG era to create a very refreshing and innovative comp. Disk 1 contains 16 tracks, disk 2 has 7, and disk 3 has 13. SolidusJack Rework
